We’re looking for a UAS Production Technician Level I, who’s equal parts maker and problem-solver. You’ll be a key part of the Operations team, building and testing our next-generation flight systems.
What You’ll Do
Assembles electrical and mechanical components and sub-assemblies using drawings and work
instructions.
Aligns, fits, and assembles component parts, using precision tools, calibrated hand tools, and power tools.
Installs electromechanical, electronic parts, and hardware in assemblies, using soldering equipment and
hand tools.
Tests performance on electromechanical assemblies such as drones and payloads, using test
instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other testing equipment.
Maintains company inventory and quality control using ERP software.
Maintains and complies with production procedures.
Understands and meets production schedule deadlines.
This is a cross-functional role requiring the ability to manage responsibilities across multiple
departments simultaneously while maintaining core production duties.
Maintains a clean work environment and follow safety protocol.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong aptitude in electromechanical assembly using both hand and power tools.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical specifications using drawings and
manuals.
Able to communicate effectively and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to use fingers to manipulate small parts.
Ability to reach with arms and use hands to seize, hold, and grasp objects.
Excellent vision is required to perform a job.
Required to work with toxic or caustic chemicals.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Bonus Points For
Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Theory of Constraints are a plus.
Experience as a drone operator such as Part 107 Certification is a plus.
